What is acrylic fluid painting?
Acrylic pouring, also known as flow art, or fluid art painting is a form of abstract art that uses acrylic paints with a runny (fluid) consistency. Layers of acrylic paint are poured into a cup, which then react with each other when combined to create organic free-flowing abstract composition.
I also use a hair blow dryer to move the fluid paint. It is called a Dutch Pour method. There are many ways to do fluid art painting. I started doing this a few years ago. I am still learning. It is always a surprise with the end result. It’s like “a box of candy as you never know what you’re going to get.”
That’s the fun of it!!!
